In the New and Festive Hall of the Mathematisch-Physikalischer Salon, historic instruments are presented in a newly conceived exhibition. Sehner Precision Display Cases realised climate-controlled all-glass display cases, large-format wall display cases and precise pedestal solutions.
Dresden, Germany
The exhibition places instruments, globes and scientific models from the 16th to the 19th century at the centre. Pedestals with anodised aluminium cladding and extra-white back-painted safety glass structure the space. Climate-controlled all-glass display cases made of anti-reflective extra-white glass create stable conditions. Large-format wall display cases with walnut veneer, integrated lighting and climate control frame the room and present the exhibits in a controlled way.
