Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet – Watchmaking Art in a Spiral Staging
Projects > Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet
At the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet in the Swiss Jura, over 300 unique timepieces are displayed in a spiral-shaped building that seamlessly blends architecture, landscape, and scenography into a fluid, immersive experience — crafted with the highest precision.
Le Brassus, Switzerland
An exceptional exhibition architecture was created for the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet, featuring precisely positioned display cases that adapt in appearance and design to each chapter of the narrative. The scenography follows a smoothly paced journey through the history of watchmaking — supported by natural light, mechanical sculptures, and refined materials such as glass, brass, bleached ash, and black high-gloss lacquer.

Precision & Visibility
Tiny watch components — some as thin as a human hair — had to be perfectly illuminated and made visible without glare or casting shadows.
Over 300 historic timepieces, including unique pieces from the 18th century, require stable climate conditions to protect them from fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
Climate Control
Narrative Diversity
Each chapter of the exhibition required its own design language – from black showcases for early watchmaking to glass spheres for the most complex complications.
